M02-W-001 - 999 W Series Series W - 'Wheelchair' droids are used to speedily transport small packages around factories, space stations or other facilities (Such as hospitals or warehouses). They can move very quickly, skimming between objects as they assess multiple projectiles or moving objects that surround them. They work very efficiently among other Wheelchair droids, but also among other robots. M02-X-001 - 999 X Series Series X - 'Xenon' droids are highly adaptive multi-purpose droids. Whilst George droids are expensive, Xenon droids are state-of-the-art and only affordable to the super-rich, and hence they are rarely seen. M02-Y-001 - 999 Y Series Series Y - 'Yuri' droids are low-level loader robots. They basically lift objects out of containers and repackage them in other containers - They are useful where sets of items need to be grouped together into packs. They are not very intelligent but work very quickly. M02-Z-001 - 999 Z Series Series Z - 'Zeebots' act as assistants to the 'Intellibots' - obeying designated commands. They can be given instructions that are lacking in detail, but are intelligent enough to work out what actions are required to accomplish goals. Zeebots only obey orders from Intelibots (I Series) - they are not answerable to any other person or robot. THE TERRIFYING SKAYLOR EVOLUTION -------------------------------- GEN 1 - (Series A) The first generation of Skaylor could be easily fooled into thinking someone was not biological by them wearing a robot costume. Their strong arms could tear people and things apart. They moved slower than humans. They were intelligent enough to design and build better robots, machinery and vehicles. Their vision systems were basic and object detection was prone to errors - It was possible to hide from them - even if part of you was visible - they might not detect you as being human - If you remained totally still and quiet they might just walk right by you - but you couldn't rely on that always being the case. They could hear sounds through regular microphones but could become confused if there was a lot of loud sound sources around them. They communicated amongst themselves through high-pitched loud screeching (Like that of a fax machine or old computer program loaded from a cassette tape), and the communication speed was slow. GEN 2 - (Series Q) These Skaylors were faster (Similar speed to human movement) and smarter and were equipped with advanced sensors. They were developed aboard the Skaylor Space Station after the First gen Skaylors had left the Yellow Planet Cluster. They were able to detect animal heart beats at close proximity, to help them locate anyone or anything that was hiding near by. They had improved vision (Including optical zoom) as well as thermal imaging, night vision, infra-red and 360 degree motion detection. They could communicate wirelessly to each other without sound over very short distances. GEN 3 - (Series R) The Gen 3 Skaylors were the first to be fitted with internal medium-range wireless networking capabilities. They were able to collaborate better in teams and were able to achieve more advanced and efficient tactical solutions. Their speed was 1.5x that of a human, giving them a great advantage in combat situations and in general efficiency. They had updated versions of all the Gen 2 sensors - longer range detection of heartbeats and breathing sounds and advanced long range zoom vision with image correction. They were fitted with the first version of their 'disorientation technology' - They would move in erratic, confusing ways, suddenly changing direction and emitting loud sounds and bright flashing lights. GEN 4 - (Series T) Gen 4 (Tallbots) introduced a new level of network connectivity, and collaborative mapping. All Gen 4 Skaylors could communicate rapidly to any other Skaylor anywhere on the same planet - and when they were working in teams - they could share their vision data, audio and other sensor data and build and share realtime 3D maps. Using this technology, one Skaylor would know what is happening around a corner without being able to visibly see what is happening, providing that there is at least one other Skaylor already around that corner. The sensors now had projectile mapping and predictive planning - enabling them to very efficiently dodge incoming projectiles and weapons fire. Each Skaylor had extremely high-level multi-tasking capabilities - they could be processing multiple combat strategies, engaging in several communication streams, running scenario predictions and scanning their extensive library simultaneously. This library detailed animal physiology, muscle, flesh and bone densities, capability limitations and weaknesses, and in-depth medical knowledge of cardio-vascular systems. They also had weaponised psychological techniques. The new disorientation technology had developed greatly. They now had a light so bright that it causes instant blindness, and they emitted extremely loud sounds designed to permanently damage hearing. Targets would be blind, deaf and totally disorientated before the Gen 4 Skaylor had even got close to them. With 10x + speed of a human - they would be up close before you know it and they would spray acid and poison gas into your face as they quickly dissect you. GEN 5 - (Series X) This Generation were nicknamed as the 'Invisibots'. Fitted with a unique high-speed, mini-jet propulsion system - the Gen 5 Skaylors movements were no longer powered by electric motors. Their bodies and arms were propelled in directions as required. They could switch direction and move so quickly, that they can only be detected using advanced strobe lighting and ultra high frame rate cameras. Communication was no longer limited to being planetary due to the Skaylors having setup a communication relay system allowing inter-galactic communications. By Gen 5, the Skaylors no longer needed poison gas and acid canisters within them. The blinding lights and ear bursting sounds were also no longer required as they now blasted out lethal, extremely highly radioactive particles. Once these Skaylors have visited, the whole planet will be uninhabitable for 150 years. Their intelligence level by this point had given them 'God-like' capabilities.
