The R22 Carrier is designed for large heavy loads and has 24 large wheels grouped into 8 sets of 3. The wheels can rise and fall over terrain and the vehicle is hinged in the centre.
There are two seating positions at the front and a computer console. The base of each of the two vehicle segments has a raised tile configuration allowing for various modules to be lowered and held in place ready for transportation.
