They also have a large army which protects all that are friendly. RED STARS (Red) Allies of Golden Eagles from a distant area of space. They love 1970's disco dancing and putting on extravagant shows! They are great pilots, love racing and are extremely friendly and promiscuous. YELLOW PLANETS (Yellow) Genius telepathic clones from a cluster of planets where everything is yellow. They are pacifists with no defences. They rely on protection from Golden Eagles/Red Stars and Vigilante. They are experts at medical science, mathematics, philosophy, engineering and many other subjects. Friendly. BLUE FALCONS (Blue) Elite ship builders. The Blue Falcons are a very old race that is becoming extinct due to genetic issues. They build bespoke, luxury spaceships to order. They are regarded as the highest quality and most expensive spaceships money can buy. Friendly, wise and reclusive. The Blue Falcons pay the Yellow Planets to research their medical problems, however despite the unparalleled knowledge of The Yellow Planets top experts - they have been unable to find a cure. BLACK HAWKS (Black) Evil warrior savages. Like the Blue Falcons, The Black Hawks are a very old race that are becoming extinct - mainly through squabbling amongst themselves, genetic problems and having a complete disregard for their own safety. VIGILANTE (Black) A mysterious splinter group that originated from The Black Hawks race - It is unknown what their populations is - but it is believed to be very small. Unlike the Black Hawks - Vigilante are friendly. They have been known to rush to the rescue of the defenceless. They never stick around very long and keep their identities hidden and they are in possession of highly sought after, super-advanced technology which is not understood. This technology seems to defy all known laws of physics! There is a lot of mythology and tales that The Vigilante are Gods. Some have said that they are are beautiful female angels, however other accounts from those that have encountered this group have dismissed that. SKAYLORS (Gray / Robots) Evil robots - Programmed to destroy all living creatures. The prototype Skaylor robot was designed by a top robotic engineer from the Yellow Planet Cluster. This robot was the culmination of his life's work. After not being fairly paid and treated very poorly, this demotivated and reclusive engineer became very bitter and had become estranged from his clone family. He fell into illness and shortly before his death - he gave his robot two prime directives: One was that the robot should work on creating ever improved versions of itself and the other was to send robot armies outward across the galaxies to kill all biological life. The robots were to research the most efficient ways of achieving this objective. The Skaylors army grew and evolved very quickly into lethal killing machines. The Yellow Planet race are deeply ashamed of this chapter of their ancient history, and after witnessing never before seen genocide - They vowed to be pacifists. The Golden Eagles and Red Stars have been at war with the Skaylors for many generations and have lost many lives to the Skaylor armies. Many Yellow Planets clones were also slaughtered by the Skaylors. The Blue Falcons and Black Hawks have smaller populations and have not yet been discovered by the Skaylor armies, so have managed to avoid encounters with them so far. Skaylor populations are much lower in the area of the Red Stars - however attacks have been ongoing there - bringing The Red Planets into the battle. They joined forces with Golden Eagles in this battle. ------ The Black Hawks have green slime on their planet, Vigilante base is above the lava and Red Stars has Snow and Lava. Vigilante have red and black to show that they are half red stars and half black hawk. Skaylors have red for blood and gray for metal. Blue Falcons have blue for the oceans and gray for metal (To represent the metal ships that they build). Yellow planets - well its very yellow!. The golden eagles have a white line to match their spacesuit colour, the yellow represents the eagle's beak and the black represents the rest of the eagle's body - a bit strange I know! The Galactic Union was originally formed by The Golden Eagles and The Yellow Planets - that's why that flag has those colours - because they are similar to Golden Eagle and Yellow Planets - The Red Stars and Blue Falcons joined the Galactic Union later on (They were both a little hesitant to join the Union - just because they were nervous about it but after considering it's values for a time - they realised they are good values to have). The reasons that Yellow Planets did not hesitate to join the Galactic Union - one they are peaceful and two they are super-intelligent - so they were able to realise much quicker that it was a good idea. ------- POTENTIAL CHARACTER NAMES ------------------------- Refer to the Google Sheet 'The Skaylor War Characters'
