The S16 was designed primarily for effective deployment of worker robots in the fields of construction, maintenance, service, medical, hospitality and security. The ship can carry 6 robots in the centre section and there is room for an astronaut or addition robot in the rear section. At the front, there is a roomy cockpit and the pilot has good visibility from the front and side windows.
The ships often travel in small fleets - Usually one ship is piloted by a human fleet commander and robots pilot the remainder of the fleet - following the fleet commander and working under his guidance.
The S16 has also proven useful for moving cargo, supplies and astronauts. There are future plans to design a gunship edition of the S16 which will feature laser cannons mounted to the sides and front of the four lift-engines, additional weapons at the mid-section and bombs that can be released from the underside of the ship.
